Epilepsy, Witney and I: Sharing my journey, one day at a time

Welcome to my corner of the internet, a place where I 'chat' about my daily life with epilepsy and its impact. From moving to Witney to navigating friendships, join me in exploring the ups and downs, and perhaps find a space to share your own stories too.

My Story: A New Chapter in Witney

Moving from Birmingham to Witney brought about many changes, some expected, some not. I want to openly discuss how this significant life event affected my epilepsy, and the adjustments I've had to make. It's not always easy, but sharing my experiences helps me process it all.

This blog is my personal space to reflect on my feelings, and I hope it can become a platform for others who have experienced similar challenges. Sometimes, all you need is someone to listen who isn't family or a close friend, someone who truly understands.

Lost Friends, Found Strength: Has anyone else experienced this?

Epilepsy has, sadly, impacted my friendships. One friend couldn't cope with me leaving Birmingham, and another eventually confessed he hated my epilepsy and cut ties. It's a painful reality that many with chronic conditions face. Have you lost friends because of your epilepsy, or do you know someone who has? Let's talk about it and find strength in shared experiences.
